This is a very rare burgundy red enamel and silver tone Mondaine compact purse with wristlet.

It's a beautiful slim style piece that measures approximately 4 inches by 3 inches. The wristlet has a 4 inch drop from the top of the purse.

The piece shows some light signs of wear, scuffs, scratches, and light indentations, mostly to the back of the purse. Still a really stunning piece with it's deep burgundy enamel, and it's silver etched Art Nouveau design on the lid.

It opens to a large framed beveled mirror, with some very faint haze. The bottom has two covered compartments, one for powder and one for rouge. It also has a spring loaded compartment for change, bills or small items.

The compact is hallmarked with the "Mondaine" name inside the purse.

It has a black woven fabric style wristlet, that is in very good condition.
