For the Citadel, Black Ember specified Cordura's new 420D Velocity, the latest textile in the Cordura® re/cor™ RN66 collection of 100% recycled textiles. Velocity has a matte-shine finish with a water-resistant top coating that repels dust and dirt and a multi-layer polyurethane back side to keep water out.

Highlights of the Black Ember 16" Citadel 25L

The new Citadel 25 features a magnetic, separated and suspended laptop sleeve, a protective quick-access pocket and the latest T6 aluminium hardware. Includes Handle, Magnetic Key Ring and Removable Sternum Strap.

Upgraded Fabric: EmberTex™ is Black Ember's latest performance textile development. With EmberTex™ they have now removed all PFAS (forever chemicals) from their supply chain. This twisted nylon 6 has an abrasion resistant matte finish and a 1200x600 Denier, giving our packs a bit more structure by design.
